You can import the PSD file to after effects there have an option there and then you can use the reflection and the gloss but If you want to use the same effect you use in the text animation then this is a little bit hard to be done and I probably need to make a new tutorial about it. But in few words:
For the gloss: Duplicate the text make it white
Set the color to white and mask it, then use your animation on the gloss.
For the reflection: Just duplicate what you already have and flip it vertical then lower the opacity and probably use some masking just like in photoshop. I am not sure it will be easy to animate the reflection it depends of what animation you use. Hope that helps a little…

Hello! Thank you for the tutorial… I really liked how the text came out except I’m having a hard time with converting the text so it would work with after effects… Because I want to animate the text… So I have tried converting it to editable text with after effects… The text itself works… However, the gloss and the reflection cannot be converted because it has no text… Would you please be able to help me out? Thank you!

sorry I have missed something in this tutorial
which make it hard for the newish users…

After you make the selection of the text (step4) take the rectangle marquee tool and hold ALT on your keyboard. Then cut the half of that same selection.
And here something I have not mentioned:
Make new layer!
Then fill with white and reduce the opacity to 25%.

i just got to step 5, and i did the bit where you use the rectangle marquee tool to select half the text to create the white top, but when i try and alter the opacity to 25%, it alters the opacity of the black bottom of the text too, and it doesn’t look like it should, what am i doing wrong? i’m newish to this by the way..
