MonetizationI’m going to make a quick review of two of the most popular platforms that offer an image monetization.

The first one is Shutterstock. Using their services you can upload your photos (icons, logos, images)and get paid every time one of your photos is downloaded. Web designers, magazine editors, and other graphic artists purchase monthly subscriptions to Shutterstock to download photos from their site.

Shutterstock is different than other stock models. Buyers subscribe on a monthly basis and can download up to 750 images over the course of 30 days. Your cut? Shutterstock will pay you 25 cents every time one of your images is downloaded. Once you reach $500 in earnings, your commission goes up to 30 cents per download.

Shutterstock subscription model encourages buyers to download a greater volume of images than they would at most other agencies.

Current Payout $0.25 (US) per download. That means that at just 2000 downloads/month, you can earn $500 (US) per month! Many of Shutterstock  photographers earn this and more every month.

This is a great opportunity for professional or amateur photographers (web designers, photoshop guros and other) to get profit for their works.

The only disadvantage is that if you want to join the program you must scan and upload an image of your identity card, to identify your self and that you are real person. If you don’t have a scanner by hand you can just take a capture with you digital camera, and upload it to your PC, after that submit it to the website.

If you want to sing up for the Shutterstock program, it’s free and you can do it by clicking on the banner below.

The second one is BritePic. They adds interactivity and ads (if you want them) to the photos on your website. This program is ideal for web albums, image galleries and large photo portfolios.

If you’re an HTML coder, you can use BritePic instead of the <img> tag.

BritePic adds the following features to the images on your website:

  • Email this image

  • Embed this image (you still get the ad revenue, even if your pic is embedded elsewhere)

Important! Maybe the biggest problem of the websites monetization is the people them selves. their envy and covetousness. Many people are trying at all costs to avoid the clicks on the others affiliate (refferal) links in fear that their colleagues are going to get rich before them. Some other are thinking that the funds for the affiliate program will be got in their charge, that is not truth.

So if we want to make a real monetization and help each other, we must change the way we are thinking.
